Well, our homestudy visits our done, so what's next for us? We will meet with our social worker on June 21 to go over the completed homestudy. Then it will go to DCFS for approval (Illinois is the only state that requires this). Then we will add more paperwork to the homestudy and send it to immigration for approval. Meanwhile we'll be finishing up our paperwork for our dossier. Finally, everything will need to be certified/authenticated by Illinois as well as the United States before finally going to Ethiopia. Then we will be added to the waiting list for a girl, 0-12 months. That's the simple version. We're praying for that by the end of September, but trusting the Lord for His timing. We appreciate you keeping us in your prayers!

Now what = lots of time to wait & use the vocabulary word 'dossier' as often as possible because it's a neat one that you probably won't get to use again!
But seriously, now is when I will be praying for you all! This waiting game is no fun but necessary. Love you!
